Also called Brazilian Cherry, and one of our more popular imported woods. Hard, very heavy, and very tough. The grain is commonly interlocked with a medium coarse texture. Canarywood is a uniquely beautiful wood that parades a prism of natural colors from bright yellow, orange, red and purple. The wood is easy enough to work with hand and power tools, and it’s medium-fine texture lets you give your project a perfectly smooth finish.
You'll be amazed and wonder if this wood is real - the potpourri of swirls, color, and grain are no small matter and Caribbean Rosewood is beautiful because of it. Make some stout projects because it's hard, heavy and dense. But the wood is easy to finish, and looks downright stunning.
Granadillo will enchant your creativity with its bold purplish color and beautiful rosewood-like patterns. It's a hard wood that will take an ultra-fine polish and will steal the show in your decorative projects.
